(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) on Friday (02) reiterated that the Party will only support to convene Parliament.
JVP Parliamentarian Vijitha Herath stated that the Party was only supporting calls to convene Parliament immediately and not an individual.
Several unconfirmed reports speculated that the JVP had extended support to United National Party (UNP) Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe to remain as Prime Minister.
