Chairman of the Livestock Development Board re-remanded

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The chairman of the National Livestock Development Board, K Mutuvinayagam was arrested on 5th October by Bribery sleuths on the charges of taking a bribe of 600 thousand rupees.

The Chairman of the National Livestock Development Board, Muttu Vinayagam and one other suspect were remanded till tomorrow (02) by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.

The case was taken up today (01) by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court and officials of the Bribery Commission informed Court that further investigations are being conducted.

Accordingly, the officials of the commission also requested the court to remand the suspects further.
