Tense situation inside Temple Trees: Complaint lodged with IGP [UPDATE]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – UPDATE: Complaint has been lodged with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara that a group of State Officials who arrived at the Temple Trees were threatened and assaulted.

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A tense situation was reported inside Temple Trees on Wednesday (31) as two individuals attempted to enter the premises without providing proper authorised identifications.

The duo had reportedly stated that they were sent by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Office to obtain several items at Temple Trees.

The two individuals was detained by Ranil Wickremesinghe’s supporters, and later escorted out of the premises.
