(UTV|COLOMBO) – Due to the low level atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, showery condition is expected to enhance from today (31), the Department of Meteorology said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Northern, North-Central and Eastern Provinces, and in Matale District.
Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere after 2.00 PM.
Fairly heavy showers about 100 millimetres can be occur at some places particularly in Northern, North-Central and Uva Provinces, and in Matara and Hambanthota Districts.
Misty conditions may occur at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces during the morning.
