(UTV|COLOMBO) – The enhancement of showery condition is expected to continue in next few days.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at most places over the island after 2.00pm.
Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Eastern and Northern provinces in the morning too.
Heavy falls over 100mm will occur at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Eastern provinces and in Galle, Matara and Polonnaruwa districts.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
