Hotline service (1926) for mental health from today

(UTV|COLOMBO)  – The national mental health assistance hotline service will be active from today (15).

Director of the National Institute of Mental Health Dr. Kapila Wickramanayake said, any issues pertaining to mental health can be shared through the 1926 hotline.

A special event in this regard will get underway under the patronage of Minister of Health Dr. Rajitha Senaratne.

He noted the National Institute of Mental Health aims to provide services to those who are facing hardships, need information regarding mental health or support, through the hotline that is open 24 hours of the day.
