IOC and CPC increase fuel prices [UPDATE]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Retail Prices of Fuel have been revised with effect from last midnight (10) based on the Fuel pricing formula, the Finance Ministry said.

Accordingly the price of 92 Octane Petrol has been increased by Rs. 6 per litre while 95 Octane Petrol has been increased by Rs. 8 per litre.

The price of Super Diesel has also been increased by Rs. 8 per litre, however the price of Auto Diesel remains unchanged.

Earlier this morning, the Lanka IOC also announced that they have increased their prices in line with the price increase by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.

Accordingly, the new prices of IOC fuel (per liter) are as follows :

Petrol (92 octane) –  Rs. 155
Petrol (95 octane- Euro 4 ) – Rs. 172
Auto Diesel – Rs. 129
Super Diesel (Euro 4) – Rs. 141
