Court imposes international travel bans on DIG Nalaka de Silva, Namal Kumara [UPDATE]

Anti-Corruption Force Operations Director Namal Kumara and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Nalaka Silva arrived at Fort Magistrate’s Court, a short while ago.

DIG Nalaka de Silva, Namal Kumara to appear before court today

Colombo Fort Magistrate had ordered DIG Nalaka de Silva and Director of Anti-Corruption Force Namal Kumara to appear before the Court today (08).

The order was issued by the Court when the case filed with regard to the ongoing investigation into the alleged assassination plot targeting President Maithripala Sirisena and former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, was taken up on last friday (05).
