(UTV|COLOMBO) – Two persons have been arrested based on a tip-off received by the Elpitiya Police in the Madakanda area located in Elpitiya for possession of two firearms.
Police have seized a locally-manufactured revolver and one foreign-manufactured ‘Bora-12’ firearm from the suspects.
The two suspects will be produced before the Elpitiya Magistrate’s Court today (02).
Elpitiya Police is conducting further investigations.
