DIG Nalaka de Silva’s voice sample recorded for testing

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government Analyst’s Department on Friday (28) recorded a voice sample from the former Terrorism Investigations Department (TDI) Chief, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Nalaka de Silva.

The sample was taken as per a Court order to verify a telephone conversation he allegedly had with the Operational Director of the Anti-Corruption Movement Namal Kumara.

The CID is currently investigating the allegations made by Namal Kumara recently that the DIG Nalaka de Silva had been allegedly conspiring to assassinate President Maithripala Sirisena and former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa by using underworld criminal ‘Makadure Madush’ who is absconding Court at the moment.
