Indefinite strike launched by Kandy SLTB employees

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The employees of Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) in Kandy District have begun an indefinite strike action from today (26).

The Convener of the Central Province SLTB Joint Trade Union Alliance Herath Mudiyanselage Bandara stated that the reason for the strike action is due an arbitrary appointment made by the SLTB Chairman.
