National Mosquito Control Programme from today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The National Mosquito Eradication Week has commenced from today (26) to 02 October, the Ministry of Health announced.

Accordingly, a National Mosquito Control Programme will be held in 175 high-risk Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Divisions in the country, with the participation of 6,000 Inspectors.

The Armed Forces, Police, Civil Defence Force, Community Health Groups, Development Officers, and Grama Niladharies will be included in the teams to inspect premises.
