Spain to provide vessel to remove oil spills

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Mahaweli Development and Environment Deputy Minister Ajith Mannapperuma stated that the Spanish Government will provide a vessel to Sri Lanka under the concessionary loan scheme to remove the contaminants from the ocean.

The vessel will be used to address oil spills such as the one caused by a broken pipe in Colombo Harbour recently.
