3D technology must include Education Purpose – Education Minister

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam speaking at a function at a school in Dompe said the time is apt to move to 3D technology for educational purposes.

The Education Minister added in a rapidly growing world, if education systems are not up to date according to accepted norms, children will face risks in future.

200 digital classrooms will be established for this purposes this year, Minister said.

Minister Kariyawasam said knowledge is rapidly growing globally adding knowledge keeps growing over the years.

The Minister said there is a possibility to link 10 schools when teaching in a digital class room with the use of 3D technology in future.
