Private Bus Association threatens trade union action (Update)

(UTV|COLOMBO) –  All Ceylon Private Bus Association (ACPBA) said a strike will be launched from 24 September midnight, if a solution is not given for the fuel price hike.

The All Ceylon Private Bus Association (ACPBA) would go for a strike if the Government failed to increase bus fares by 10 per cent following the recent fuel price revision, the Association said.

ACPBA Secretary Anjana Priyanjith stated that they would launch the trade union action if the Government did not agree to increase the minimum fare from Rs. 12 to Rs. 15 and 10 per cent increment.
