(UDHAYAM, KANDY) – Chithrangani Wijetunga, the daughter of the late President D.B. Wijetunga, passed away today (22nd Wednesday) morning at a private hospital in Kandy. She was 60 years old.
Yesterday (21st Tuesday) she was taken to hospital when she fell ill suddenly. It was planned to transfer her to a Colombo hospital for further treatment, reportedly.
