Case against MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena today

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The case filed against United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian (MP) Rohitha Abeygunawardena over failing to declare his assets amounting to 41.2 million rupees will be taken up in court once again today (22nd Wednesday).

The case, filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, will be heard at the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court is also due to announce its verdict on the objections over the computer evidence produced in court.
