(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of Yatiyanthota police has assaulted a police officer attached to the same police station yesterday (21st Tuesday).
Police officer who was injured has been admitted to the Avissawella hospital, police media states.
Seethawaka Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) is carrying out an investigation into the incident.
