UDA planned to launch investigation into Blumenthal fire

(UTV|COLOMBO) The Urban Development Authority (UDA) is planning to conduct an inquiry to ascertain the cause of yesterday’s(4) fire at the Blumenthal garbage dump.

Garbage is not being dumped at the Blumenthal garbage dump at present but the fire which erupted yesterday has been doused completely.

Chairman of the UDA Jagath Munasinghe said, that an investigation team comprising of officers from the NBRO, Sri Lanka Army and the Police will be deployed for this purpose.
