(UTV|COLOMBO) A Gazette Notification was issued on Monday (27) by Minister of Public Administration and Management Ranjith Madduma Bandara to extend the retirement age of Specialist Doctors.
Accordingly, Specialist Medical Officers mandatory retirement age has been extended to 63 and the Amendment will be effective from 06th June, 2017.
Earlier Specialist Medical Officer’s mandatory retirement age is 60.
