President pays last respects to Chandra Rajapaksa [IMAGES]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena on Saturday (25) visited former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s ancestral home at Madamulana and paid last respects to Rajapaksa’s younger brother Chandra Rajapaksa who passed away recently.

President Sirisena expressed his condolences to the former President and the family members.

Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, Western Province Chief Minister Isura Devapriya, former Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa, and former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa were also present on the occasion.
