Army briefs Thai University Delegation on reconciliation projects in Jaffna

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A delegation of the Rotary Peace Centre in Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University during a tour to the North called at the Security Force Headquarters – Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Sunday (19) and learnt about the Army’s on-going reconciliation projects in Jaffna.

Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander, Security Forces – Jaffna, extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and explained the military involvement in the reconciliation process, humanitarian projects and current roles of the military in the Jaffna peninsula.
