Police record statement from Dilantha Malagamuwa on death threat

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Police on Wednesday (15) recorded a statement from racing driver Sri Lanka’s racing sensation Dilantha Malagamuwa over an alleged threat to his life.

Malagamuwa appeared at the Office of the Western Province (North) Police DIG (Deputy Inspector General of Police) to make a statement.

He lodged a complaint alleging that he had received credible information that a contract has been given to kill him.

It is reported that the contract had been given to a prisoner by a former Provincial Politician in connection with a dispute over a tea land.

The Police have initiated a special investigation following a complaint made by Malagamuwa.
