Railway Strike: Eight trains in operation today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Eight trains have been deployed from various parts of the country in-order to minimise the inconvenience faced by the railway commuters due to the on-going strike of the Railway Trade Unions, the Railway Control Room said.

Several Railway Trade Unions including Drivers and Guards have launched a lightning strike at 3.00 PM on Wednesday (08) bringing train services to a halt.
