Railway Strike: Private buses permitted to operate on any route

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Private buses have been permitted to operate on any route irrespective of their particular route permits until the on-going railway strike concludes, the Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday (08).

Several Railway Trade Unions including Drivers and Guards have launched a lightning strike at 3.00 PM yesterday bringing train services to a halt.
