Disrupted water supply restored in Colombo

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Few places including Colombo and Mattakkuliya have been affected with disrupted water supplies, it is reported.

This was due to an eruption of a water pipe last night on Ferguson road, Matttakkuliya.

Western, Central Deputy General Manager of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, Sunith Perera said that renovation works of the damaged pipe have been concluded.

Meanwhile, the Association of Diploma Engineers engaged in trade union action currently said that the disruption of water supply was due to their actions.
