Strong winds lashes Ampara

(UTV|COLOMBO) Over 70 houses have been damaged by strong winds yesterday (02) in Ampara, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.

The DMC said that several houses in Samanthurai and Navagampura in Amapara had been damaged.

The Disaster Management Centre and the District Secretariat have jointly launched a programme to provide relief to those who affected by the severe weather conditions.
