Saudi Arabia deported Over 10,000 in one week

In the past week, more than 10,000 people were deported by Saudi Arabia  in an ongoing crackdown on residency and labour law violators.

The number of violators arrested in Saudi Arabia since November 15, 2017 has reached 1,483,009.

Saudi Press Agency shared that the number of violators deported to their home countries as part of the ‘Nation Free of Illegal Expats’ campaign reached 377,572. 

19 ministries and government departments are participating in the campaign, Saudi Gazette reported. 

 11,844 violators are being held at various detention centers awaiting deportation.

Flight bookings for as many as 255,932 are being finalised for their final departure from the country.
