(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – India’s Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow.
Announcing the visits, Spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry Vikas Swarup said Jaishankar will hold discussions with government officials on possibilities of collaboration and cooperation in several sectors including power, highways, airports and hydrocarbon.
S Jaishankar is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and leave the island on Monday, where he will travel to China to attend the first round talks on the India-China Strategic Dialogue.
The Spokesperson to the External Affairs Ministry said the visit will continue the tradition of close exchanges with Sri Lanka that has gained momentum in the last two years.
Swarup also said the visit would help in taking stock on various decisions taken during meetings between the two governments.
