State Minister chairs a welfare meeting for retired military personnel

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A delegation of the Sri Lanka Ex- Servicemen’s Association met the State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene at the ministry premises on 15th February.

Secretary to the State Ministry of Defence Mr. A.P.G. Kithsiri was also present at the meeting.

The progress of the ongoing employment project for the retired military personnel, conducted by the State Ministry of Defence was discussed along with the other matters of the retired military personnel at the meeting. State Minister also provided much needed guidance for the project.

Sri Lanka Ex-servicemen’s Association President Brigadier (Retired) K.A.Gnanaweera, members of the Association, MoD officials and welfare representatives of tri forces and police were present at the meeting.
