“Trade Union action during term tests is a conspiracy,” Education Minister claims

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Trade Union action planned by several Trade Unions in the education sector is a political conspiracy, Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam stated.

He made this remarks at a media briefing held in Colombo on Tuesday (24).

The Minister further stressed that any teacher who wish the betterment of students cannot engage in a strike when term tests are rolling out, and some Education Officers have reportedly pressurised the Teachers to support the trade union action in this critical period.
