US Army Pacific Commanding General, SL Navy Commander hold talks

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Commanding General of the US Army Pacific (USARPAC) General Robert Brown met the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimewan Ranasinghe at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on Monday (23).

The Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle warmly welcomed the visiting US General to the Naval Headquarters before he was accorded a Guard of Honour in accordance with naval traditions.

Subsequently, General Brown held cordial discussions with the Commander of the Navy and they shared a couple of views on matters of professional interest. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the significance of this occasion.
