Joint Opposition’s “Jana Balaya Kolambata” postponed

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The “Jana Balaya Kolambata” (ජන බලය කොළඹට) protest by organised the Joint Opposition (JO) which was to be staged in August has been postponed to September.

The JO was preparing to stage the protest of all JO parties and Trade Unions on 17 August against the Government.

However, JO Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa in a message shared to his Twitter page stated that the protest will now take place on 05 September to avoid any form of disruption to students taking the Advanced Level (A/L) Examinations this year.
