(UTV|COLOMBO) – Water filling of the Kalu Ganga – Moragahakanda Reservoir will commence today (23) under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
The event marks the completion of the Mahaweli Multipurpose Project inaugurated at Polgolla in the Central Province by the then Prime Minister Sirimavo Bandaranaike on 08 January, 1976.
The water filling of the Kalu Ganga Reservoir will commence today at the Kalu Ganga Dam.
