UN World Food Programme to continue to support Sri Lanka

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has assured that the WFP will continue to support to enhance food security and nutrition in Sri Lanka.

The WFP and the Government have signed a Letter of Understanding to further their partnership in this regard.

The joint efforts support the Government’s Vision 2025 and Sustainable Development Goals, and will be carried out under WFP’s new Country Strategic Plan 2018 – 2022.
