(UTV|COLOMBO) – Constructions of another 155 estate houses were commenced on Sunday (15) under the Indian Government assistance.
The constructions were commenced at Agarapathana, Diagama, Hatton, and Bogawanthalawa areas. Eighty houses will be built at Thalawakele Diagama, 50 houses in Hatton Fodyse Estate, and 25 houses at Loynon Estate in Bogawantalawa.
The constructions of the housing scheme were launched under the patronage of Minister Palani Digambaram. Addressing the event, the Minister said that it is the 177th village built for the estate people by the present Government.
The Ministry of Estate Infrastructure has prepared to build 14 thousand houses in the estates under the Indian Government assistance.
