“Housing for teachers soon,” Sajith Premadasa assures

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Minister Sajith Premadasa says that a program will be implemented to provide housing for the teachers who do not have houses.

The Minister said this while attending the award ceremony of the Sri Lanka Teacher of the Year Event conducted by the International Teachers Guild.

The award ceremony was organised by Gateway Graduate School together with Pearson – Edexcel and Nottingham University to recognise special skills Sri Lankan teacher.

A teacher at Puttalama, Maampuriya, Daaluwa St. Anthony’s College Asaith Muthukumarana Jayaratne won the Sri Lankan Teacher of the Year Award. Minister Sajith Premadasa presented awards to the teachers.
