GMOA threatens to strike over 10 demands

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) would launch an island-wide strike on 17 July, if the Government fail to meet the demands forwarded by the Association, the GMOA said on Monday (09).

In a letter to President Maithripala Sirisena based on 10 facts, the GMOA said if the Government fails to provide solutions to the issues within the next week they will launch trade union action from the 17 July.
