Update:15 arrested; 11 students of 3 leading schools in Colombo hospitalized following 2 clashes

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – 8 students were admitted to the Colombo National Hospital following a clash that occurred between two student groups of Ananda and Nalanda colleges near Ananda College in Colombo yesterday (15th Wednesday).

Police said that 15 students were arrested by Borella and Maradana police in connection with the incident.

Meanwhile, Colombo National Hospital director Dr. Anil Jasinghe stated to media that the condition of the injured students is not serious.

In addition, another 3 students were admitted to Colombo National Hospital following a clash between two students groups of D.S. Senanayake College in Colombo.
