Parliament approves National Audit Bill with Amendments

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Parliament on Thursday (05) approved the National Audit Bill with Amendments.

The Bill, which was presented to Parliament in April, specifies the role of the Auditor General over public finance.

It also details the powers, duties, and functions of the Audit Service Commission and establishes the National Audit Office and the Sri Lanka State Audit Service.
