(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) arrested an African national woman, identified as Shasheil Horban Shei, for defrauding Rs 7.1 million.
The 38 year old suspect was arrested in Habaraduwa, Galle.
She was arrested following a complaint made by her French national spouse.
The suspect reportedly owns a tourist hotel in Galle.
Galle police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
