Five fishermen stranded in Northern seas rescued by Navy

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Navy Ship Sayurala, while patrolling in the northern seas on Thursday (14) rescued 5 fishermen stranded at sea off Point Pedro due to an engine failure of their fishing vessel.

The fishing vessel named ‘Tharanga 1’ which had left the Cod Bay fisheries harbour in Trincomalee on 13 June, faced this unfortunate incident while at sea after the unexpected engine trouble.
