(UTV|COLOMBO) – The General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) Organisation, Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, has been sentenced to one-year Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) to be ended in six-months by the Homagama Magistrate’s Court.
He was sentenced to a one-year prison term which was reduced to six-months and a fine of Rs. 50,000, for threatening the wife of Journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda, Sandya Eknaligoda.
The hard line Buddhist Monk had been accused of threatening the wife of the missing Journalist within the Homagama Court Premises in 2016.
