Sri Lanka and Finland discuss current status of affairs

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Ambassador of Finland to Sri Lanka, Harri Kämäräinen, has called on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Friday (08) to discuss the current status of affairs.

At the meeting, the Ambassador stated that an important business delegation representing the top private sector companies including Nokia and Fortum will be visiting Sri Lanka on Sunday for a business forum to meet with Sri Lankan companies and exchange ideas.

Additionally, there will be an MOU ceremony on Tuesday, where the two Government’s will sign MOUs in Digitalization, Health, and Education. Additionally there will be two MOUs between private sector companies around Energy and Education.

The Prime Minister was happy to note the increased cooperation and is keen to build further on the well established connections with Finland and other Nordic countries.
