(UTV|COLOMBO) – On the proposal made by the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Mahaweli Development and Environment, Government attention has been drawn to obtain international corporation to protect Coral Reefs by getting membership of the International Coral Reef Initiative.
Accordingly the proposal to get membership of the said programme was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
