(UTV|COLOMBO) – Rainy condition over the island and surrounding sea areas is expected to enhance, the Department of Meteorology said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces of the island, particularly after 2.00 PM.
Showers will occur in Western and Southern Provinces and in Puttalam District during the morning too.
Heavy showers, about 100 mm can be expected at some places, particularly in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Uva and Western Provinces.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces during the morning.
