Unauthorized constructions in tourism hotspots to be removed

UTV | COLOMBO – The Department of Coastal Conservation says that steps would be taken within next month to demolish the unauthorized constructions in the Weligama – Mirissa, Dehiwela – Mt. Lavinia and Negombo coastal belts.

K. Prabath Chandrakeerthi, the Director General of the Department of Coastal Conservation said that the demolitions will be carried out with the assistance of police and other relevant government institutions.
