UTV | COLOMBO – Railway Locomotive Operating Engineers’ Union says they will commence an indefinite strike at midnight today as planned.
The union had taken the decision after discussions with the authorities had failed.
The locomotive operators say that the authorities are reluctant to solve their pending salary issue and thus they decided to move ahead with the planned strike.
