UTV | COLOMBO – The Locomotive operators say they will launch a strike from midnight today (May 08).
They said that the union decided to stop work as the authorities have failed to address their salary issue.
Meanwhile, the CEB engineers are planning to start a work-to-rule campaign from this afternoon.
The union said there’s a possibility of electricity breakdowns as a result.
