Ravi, Malik, Kabir and several backbenchers unavailable for UNP May Day rally

UTV | COLOMBO – The United National Party conducted their May Day rally at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The rally began at 10 am.

However, former Chairman Malik Samarawickrema, current Chairman Kabir Hashim, former Minister Ravi Karunanayake were not present at the rally.

Palitha Range Bandara, Dilip Wedararachchi and Chaminda Wijesiri were also unavailable as they had said there were sick.

Meanwhile, Matale district MP Wasantha Aluvihare yesterday (May 05) said that he will skip the rally as he’s not happy with the recent party restructuring.
